Today, VINCI Energies announced the acquisition of the activities of the Business Applications branch of Pink Elephant in the Netherlands. This acquisition (asset deal) will enhance the portfolio of applications and services within the Axians brand, which is the VINCI Energies brand for ICT solutions and services.

The activities acquired from Pink Elephant, which will continue to work as an independent business unit, comprise the ‘Business Applications’ group in which around 70 staff members serve more than 300 clients with software, consulting, app development and (cloud) services in the business services sector and public sector.

The services concerning the ERP and process management solutions with Exact (Synergy) will supplement the current Axians Portfolio with Microsoft, Exact (Globe) and IBM. The specific add-ons are an effective addition to the portfolio with own added value solutions for specific markets. The knowledge of the Mendix platform will ensure further expansion of app development alongside the existing Microsoft and Open Source services.

This acquisition is fully in line with the VINCI Energies’ strategy to reinforce Axians in its further development of business applications and services. Business applications form a clear bridge from generic Cloud, Analytics and IoT services to specific business applications in these segments.
