This year saw 192 innovations submitted from 19 countries in Europe alone. 12 innovations were accredited during the awards ceremony in Frankfurt, including the Dutch entry ‘Every engineer an expert!’

The Dutch team (Actemium, Axians and Fieldbit) received the ‘grand prize’ during the European awards round of the VINCI Innovation Awards in Paris.

This innovative solution based on Augmented Reality technology enables fitters and service engineers to conduct their work even more effectively and efficiently. The solution gives them direct access to documentation, work instructions and even a live audio and video connection with a colleague or a helpdesk operator.
