Introduction, collaboration & networking
Over the past five years, the VINCI Energies Netherlands introduction days have already introduced 450 new employees to our objectives, working methods, philosophy of our network organisation and – most importantly of all – to each other. Today it is time for yet another Introduction day.
Our network is our strategy. That strategy can only work if our employees within our network of business units actually undertake networking followed by collaboration. And that’s precisely what they do. Within the networks of their own brand, but also increasingly between the various brands. Thanks to the broad and deep expertise of the network, our business unit can offer clients local and international solutions. Furthermore, our network serves as a catalyst for the development of our employees.
“The introduction day was a perfect opportunity to get to know colleagues from all corners of the organisation and from all over the Netherlands. This is proof of the power of the network.”
We regularly organise VINCI Energies Netherlands Introduction days in order to introduce employees who have recently joined us, to our ways of networking and the underlying philosophy and related values, while at the same time enabling them to immediately undertake networking. These days are a useful addition to the introduction programme organised by the individual business units. During an introduction day, employees are given a very concrete view of the scope, versatility, working methods and values of our network organisation. And so they are introduced to our various forms of services, our ways of networking, our Quartz management philosophy and the VINCI Energies Way of Life. All these apply in every business unit.
It is an informative but particularly also interactive day during which all employees are also given the opportunity to truly become acquainted with each other. After all, the main purpose of an introduction day is that new employees of VINCI Energies in the Netherlands meet each other: someone from Goes will meet someone from Assen, while an Actemium employee from Veghel becomes acquainted with an Axians colleague from Groningen, etc. This not only promotes networking but also provides a clear experience and perception of the scope and opportunities offered by VINCI Energies. Because even though we enjoy a small-scale organisation with an eye for human side of things, we are also ‘the multinational around the corner’.
