An enrichment of our portfolio of cyber security consultancy and services.
Today, VINCI Energies announced its acquisition of the well-known cyber security specialist SecureLayers in Breda. This acquisition will enhance the portfolio of cyber security consultancy and services within the Axians brand, which is the VINCI Energies brand for ICT solutions and services.
SecureLayers has gained a reputation as a highly specialised integrator in the field of cyber security, since 2004. The high degree of knowledge and the various managed services and operating services, including a Security Operations Centre, ensure the safeguarding of clients’ business continuity in terms of prevention, detection, intervention and recovery.
The expertise and services provided by SecureLayers is complementary to the current Axians cyber security portfolio. This acquisition will therefore result in enhancement and reinforcement in the field of advice, training, consultancy, monitoring and as-a-service offerings. In the near future, SecureLayers will continue under the Axians flag.
Tom Greeve, Director at Axians in the Netherlands: “We are seeing strong market demand for quality cyber security services in relation to the protection of business data, legislation and regulations, and cloud security. The expertise and services offered by SecureLayers are directly related to the Axians portfolio, and will therefore immediately reinforce our position in the field of cyber security.”
Eric Cantineau, owner and founder of SecureLayers: “By continuing under the Axians flag, as an innovative service provider in the field of, for example, software-defined networks and cloud technology, we immediately create the opportunity to further integrate our services within existing services and to develop further into various market segments.”
This acquisition is fully in line with VINCI Energies’ strategy to reinforce Axians in the further development of individual and public cloud services, thereby accelerating the adoption of innovative services concerning the Internet of Things (IoT) and data management.
