As of 8 September 2015, Actemium continues the activities of Imtech Industrial Services B.V. in the south-western region of the Netherlands. Actemium is the brand name of VINCI Energies which focuses on consultancy, design, construction and maintenance of industrial installations.
Actemium in Goes has enjoyed a long-term collaboration with Imtech Goes for the technical maintenance of Zeeland Refinery in Vlissingen. A new four-year E&I maintenance contract was signed for this purpose early in May. Following the announced bankruptcy of Imtech Industrial Services B.V. today, the responsibility for implementation of the total maintenance contract lies with Actemium, thus creating employment opportunities for the affected Imtech Goes employees. We are also discussing the continuation of the services together with various other regional clients, in order to retain as many jobs as possible.
“Furthermore, KPE Q8 in Rotterdam has appointed Actemium to undertake its maintenance contract for the coming years, following a successful tender process, as of 1 October 2015. Actemium therefore has sufficient work, and wishes to offer employment contracts to as many Imtech employees as possible. We hope that many people will quickly regain their future perspective”.
In the Netherlands, VINCI Energies works via business units which are locally, nationally and internationally active under the Actemium, Axians, Omexom and VINCI Facilities brands. These brands are all active in the provision of energy and information technology services. In these areas of expertise, they provide consulting, design, construction and maintenance.
