VINCI Energies in the Netherlands has reached an agreement with Verkerk Group to acquire all the operations of Verkerk Elektrotechniek, Verkerk Industrial Services and Verkerk Service Systems.
VINCI Energies in the Netherlands has reached an agreement with the Verkerk Group to acquire all activities of Verkerk Electrotechniek, Verkerk Industrial Services and Verkerk Service Systems. Such an acquisition will strengthen the industrial and building services portfolio of VINCI Energies. More than 200 people work at the Verkerk Group, which achieved a turnover of € 26 million in 2016.
The Verkerk Group is a family business and has been active since 1923 with offices in Zwijndrecht and Hoevelaken in the Netherlands. Historically, the Verkerk Group has served the Dutch market with a multitude of services, solutions, and service & maintenance activities. The strength of the Verkerk Group is in the bundling of their specialities, such as security, communication, energy, inspection, installation, measurement and control technology, panel building, services and maintenance, industrial automation and care domotics (home automation), among others, with a specific focus on the market sectors of industry, utility, marine & offshore, and healthcare.

The Verkerk Group name will continue and will be marketed alongside VINCI Energies other brands of Actemium, Axians, Omexom and VINCI Facilities in the Netherlands.
